Classical Argument Format

Ok, Classical Argument Format

Introduction (Stylized and fancy)

Background on the controversy (So the reader understands why your argument is important)

Argument (Structured, formal, 2-ish paragraphs)

Counter-argument (A nod to the other side, so you don't sound like you're a 4 year old arguing)

Rebuttal (Counter-counterargument, where you explain how the other side may have some points, but you're still right. Your best arguments should go here. 1-2ish paragraphs)

Conclusion (Stylized and fancy.) DO NOT write "In conclusion" or any spiritual equivalent.

Use 2-3 quotes per paragraph. Cite correctly. Sandwich your quotes, use them to support YOUR argument. Don't have the paper revolve around the quotes.

Don't forget Works Cited page.
